London, Oct. 12: Women who are planning to undergo a breast enhancement surgery should think twice before going ahead with it, for a new survey conducted in the UK has found that men prefer women more attractive when natural.
The poll for More magazine found that 85 percent of men aged 18 to 34 said that they hated plastic surgery and found it a "complete turn-off" in women.
The survey, which polled 1,600 men across the UK, found that a further 15 percent claimed that they wouldn't even notice women's cosmetic surgery.
"Women would be better off spending their money on new dress and shoes rather than fake breasts," Ananova.com quoted a spokeswoman for More magazine, as saying.
"They look at false cleavages but it is clear that it is a big turn off both sexually and in terms of forming a relationship. It seems as though women may have misjudged a lot of blokes," she added. (ANI)

I don't know if I would be so quick to judge based upon just the male perspective. I honestly believe that there are situations where a woman's self-image is so low that such procedures have a life-changing impact on their psyche. I'm not talking about the augmentations that are "overboard stupid", but the ones done to give a woman a better self image.
I think it is narrow-minded to think all women have such surgeries for the benefit of us men.

It does sound too good, but I agree with it. I HATE the "Bubble Breasts".
I generally like Playboy magazine, but I Hefner's obsession with the Blondie, bubble-breasted girls has ruined the pictorial. They look awful. Awful and fake.

My cousin's wife had a boob job. We had a family reunion this summer and she was dressed to really show them off. (I have rearely seen her and was unaware that they were not original issue.) As we drove off, my wife asked me if I thought that they were real or a boob job. I had not even thought about it and was unprepared. She did find out that they were $3,000 of plastic surgery.
My Grandmother's (96 years old) comment was that his wife's choice in wardrobe sure had changed since the operation.
I think that my cousin filed the operation under recreational expenses.

They do a lot of things that have nothing to do with men. Their obsession with shoes for instance.

I think it depends.since I have some experience with this issue .
I think that for the sole purpose of augmentaion they are actually a turn off.
That said, I had a girlfriend who had lost both of her breast to cancer. She had hers returned to their natural size. To me she was still the same woman I loved but it made a huge difference in her self esteem she felt "whole" again or very close to it.
Just wanted to say that it does have a place..before this thread deteriorated into endless boob jokes.

As someone once wrote, what if men obtained a comparable surgery on their private parts and they all walked around with huge, immovable plastic bulges? Not a pretty thought, is it? Many men (and women) feel the same about the gel packs in bikini tops.

I'll be pleased when fake boobs (excluding for reconstructive purposes) and tattoo's go away. Few other things say, "hi, I'm both trendy and trashy." like these "enhancements".

It's true Mary, guys will certainly look, but the fake boobs are a big turn off for me. A deal breaker in fact.

Fake boobs are a 'turn-off' for menI think the "fake boob mentality" is the problem.

Cooking, and learning to cook together, can become one of the most pleasurable and romantic activities a couple can engage in outside the bedroom.
Get DW to snuggle up with you in front of the Food Network a couple of times a week, and ask her to chop a few things or stir the pot as you are cooking, and she'll get the bug. Especially if after a nice meal, you give her a big hug and a nice kiss.

Oh, fake boobs will always have their place as form of "lawn art." But living and sleeping with them on a regular basis? Nope.

Question?
What does this have to do with politics?? Maybe you think this story should have been posted on a Hobbit thread? Or an Astronomy Picture of the Day thread? Or a ZOT thread? Or maybe the "Tigers Are In The World Series" thread?

Well, my wife's breasts got totally destroyed by my hungry little tike. It's been two years with no sign of recovery.
If she decides to enhance to get them back to pre-baby, I think it would be understandable. Although the prospect of surgery for such a thing is distrubing. Anesthesia isn't 100% safe.
To: wouldntbprudent
The ironic aspect of this is that so many guys I know are aroused by these things. I try to break it down for them- and I won't go into detail here- but to no avail. I think so many men just can't get beyond the visual. I'm a little suspicious of the results of this poll based on my experience.

Yeah, and the dirty little secret is that for many women, they feel like NOTHING. IOW, they give up the natural sensations in their breasts for the appearance of big 'uns.
No thanks.
