Didn't feel anything in Sumner, nothing showing yet on UWA maps.

Good grief, I am right in the path, here in the valley in Auburn.

I didn't feel a thing, by the way.

I just got back from the store, I got a perfect look at her, she looks quiet.

No flaming rocks in the air - no volcanic gasses (except what I got from my catalytic converter).

I think this is the biggest one up there for like a couple decades or so.

Just looked at your home page... Those aren't weaknesses, those are normal!

I guess we need to be ready for the big one, eh? Glad I spend most of my time in Burien, away from the flow.

If the Mt. really has a fit, Burien ain't safe. Near Shasta in No. CA you can see boulders - I mean huge, house sized rocks, fifty miles away from the Mt.

Kinda scary if ya think about it.

Sounds like rock fracturing. Hope it's not magma moving. Whatever it was, it was pretty significant, it's even showing up on the recorders at Mt. Baker

North end of Lake Tapps. I think I'm about 27 miles as the crow flies from Rainier. Maybe a tad more.

Close to the White/Stuck river. Comes off the east side of the Mt.

Been up to the White river glacier where it all starts, but hell, that was years and years ago.

This weeks Marine Biology Seminar was facinating and I have a link to download video/audio links of the oceanic volcanoes in action.
Scroll down to the daily logs for video clips.

NOAA Ocean Explorer: Submarine Ring of Fire 2006: May 12 Log
Address:http://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/explorations/06fire/logs/may12/may12.html

The team was made up of folks from the PNW so if you are interested in this stuff.
They got some great close up pics of the lava in the dome undulating and even a crab walking over it at 118c and yes it made it!
Amazing with the high levels of gasses the shrimp, crab and mussels thriving just dandy.
