Yankees down to their last 27 outs!
Posted on 10/06/2006 9:02:44 PM PDT by ElTiante
Ok Seriously.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but wow did Rogers look sharp tonight. 7 2/3, 0 runs, 8K. He really had something to prove tonight and did he ever.
A-Fraud AKA Mr March, went 0-3 and is batting .125 for the series.
Watching the Yankees lose NEVER GETS OLD!

You mean good pitching beat good hitting?! Who would have believed it?!! /s

As an Indians fan, I'm glad to see the Yanks go down, but I think the first round should be 4 out of 7. Having the first round as best 3 out of 5 seems too short after such a long season. Go Tigers!

Three 7 game series for the post season is too much....

Tigers players on the field, spraying champagne on the fans! Don't think I've seen that before.
What a celebration.
I haven't watched a game this satisfying since Gonzo beat the Yanks with his bloop single in the '01 Series.
(Not that I'm a Yankees-hater. They just happened to be there at the time.) :)
