The fans almost rioted when the city fathers tore down that magnificent cathedral of the national pastime, Tiger Stadium. However, Tiger Stadium was woefully outmoded and needed a replacement. Pity that Comerica Park has such a ridiculously big outfield, though. The Tigers versus A's ALCS could be an interesting series, to say the least.

I'm not dumb, I'm just not a MLB fan (although that might make me a dumb-dumb) except during playoff time of the year; at any rate, can you explain the meaning behind this picture.
...there is no ball in that dudes glove. Explain.
Go Pack! (I know they suck, but still love 'em.)

I'm sorry. Who's the dumb-dumb now for not posting the picture correctly...

You picked a fine time to flame out, A-Rod
$200 million and we stink, oh, my God...
You can't get clutch hits
Your fielding ain't worth (bleep!)
We met the Tigers, and got clawed...
You're on your way out of town, hey, A-Rod...

He was that good.
The man is a jerk, but, wow, that curve was NASTY last night.

That was one of the best pitching performances I've seen in a long time.

Tiger Stadium is still there, empty, but still there. Guess the powers that be from Little Caesars, need the money from private boxes. Seven dollars cup's of beer ain't enough money!!!!

The Tigers are doing it again with a 3 run lead in the bottom of the second.

As one who normally takes great glee in seeing a Yanks defeat. I must admit after the second half of the red sox season and the fact we are sitting around waiting for spring training. I am envious that the yanks made it to October again.
Dont get me wrong I am not bitter we didnt go out and get some pitching help in july. yet the sox brass had enough dough to by a f##king Nascar team.
Sorry Nutmeg nothing personal. I have just come to enjoy October baseball with the Red Sox in it. But dont worry I will be there for the unveiling of the 3rd place al east banner.

Wow, if they can hang on and win that'd be a HUGE upset. I'm glued to Florida-LSU, so I can't watch.

The Tigers have been pretty successful when it comes to wearing out opposing bullpens this year. Combine that with the best pitching around and the Tigers are a formidable team. Their batting line up is made of solid producers right down the list even without any power hitters.

Yanks have 12 outs to work with. Its not impossible but the odds are getting very long now for a comeback.
