My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yep I'm here, posting all over the place! Though I should run and change my airline reservation (new job in Taiwan, starts Weds!, but I've been reluctant to mention it in case it fell though, looks pretty solid now).
What's up?

Ok, I'm back. I had to take a flight on the 12th instead of the 11th, a day late for my new job. They'll probably cancel the offer for that! (hopefully not! LOL)
Are you stressed about the North Korean nuke test. Ironically I'll bet getting closer to it when I go to Taiwan Thursday, and yet still about 1500 miles away from it, I'd guess.
Yes, serious times now. Japan will probably build nukes after this, that's what people say anyway.
My new job (if they don't cancel it!) is about an hour north of that capital city I like so well, however it is on the train line (while the little hill town, was closer, but had only a slow bus, sometimes it took 2hours each way with bad traffic!). The train always takes just one hour, and of course no traffic stops, so I should enjoy living there. Get paid more too, work more hours, but get paid more. Who knows, in six or seven years I can come back to the good old USA and buy that farm out west.
Though I want the farmland more just to have no close neighbors, I don't know if I'll actually till it. I plan on putting up a log cabin house (or some other inexpensive alternative building style) and a huge greenhouse, operated by me! With a small garden in Oregon I got to where I could keep maybe 20 people feed (squash, eggplant, tomatoes, big radishes, all of many types, plus many other plants, they produce like mad!).
So the plan is to meditate and read in my secluded greenhouse beside my log cabin on my private land. Works for me!! (PS, I reserve the right to never do any of that, and just buy a regular house in a regular town and get a regular job somewhere, but the dream gives me something fun to fantasize about and work for!)

Howdy, Sorry I crashed after I pinged you.
I was thinking about you over there and was a tad worried.
WOW I sure hope your job does not get cancelled due to the late flight.
I think your dream is grand I bet you'll get to live it.
Okay, well take care of you.

Ah, there you are. Yes I've been surfing all day. I think the job should be OK, this is a four day holiday weekend in Taiwan so I won't hear from them again until tomorrow, and Thailand had a weekend holiday so I had to wait until Monday to change the flight, and today the US has Columbus day, so the consulate is closed and I must wait till tomorrow to pick up my new passport! Holidays, holidays, everywhere! :-)
But we'll see soon enough, and I will still go to Taiwan if they cancel the job or not, it will be even easier to find a new one being there in person!
Well, I'll keep everyone posted about what country I'm in over the next few days. (it sure won't be North Korea!)

When I pinged you, I was trying to consider your time zone. I thought you were in bed. LOL
Boy did I mess up.
Thanks starbase, always nice to hear of your adventures.

God Bless you, too. ;)

That's understandable. Whew! I just bumped into this totally passive aggressive, pony tailed wimp and his prostitute..er girlfriend, and he completely pissed me off. I haven't seen anyone like that since I lived in Seattle, the land of passive aggressive wimps.
I was walking in the Internet cafe and he cut me off, then walked slow in front of me, then moved my chair around before I got to it, then made this punky face while he called his stupid relatives on the Internet phone and glanced at me too many times.
I know! I know! Why would I care about such stupid things??!! I also don't know, I guess some people can just get under your skin. I never get angry at anything any more, all that Philosophy and meditation and breathing exercises really work, but damn if I didn't get angry at that wuss.
I guess it's cause they start those stupid things when you're totally not paying attention to them, then they feel like they "got one over on you". Oh, I was so pissed! So I came back to the Internet cafe but he's not around. Maybe it was the liberal pony tail that did it, or the fact that I could have smashed his face in, but that's the thing, worms like that are trying to provoke you, but we're not in a sue happy place right now, in fact it could be dangerous to make someone angry around here, especially gratuitously.
Or maybe it's just the cowardice of gay little things like that. If you want to provoke me then push me, slap me, knock me down, but don't just run around in front of me when I'm walking and then run off after I've gotten angry. I guess some males know nothing of manhood. He was clearly a Kerry voter.

Ooo, that's lovely. I do miss fall and winter. Never ending summer in the tropics is ok, but then, that's all you ever get! It soon loses its novelty, if you can believe that!

Good day to you Lady. My goodness this a gorgeous picture.
To: starbase
Fall is beautiful and the air is literally delicious. It's 65 F out there and the air is pretty dry, not like the tropics at all! Sorry, Starbase, I can't breathe in the tropics.
I was thinking of you yesterday and praying all would be well. It seems at least there have been no "leaks", but what lies in the future remains to be seen.
What have you gotten for news, dear one?
