I agree that his denial rings true. I do not, though, think that a teacher should be tutoring students in his/her own home with all of the cases of teacher-student sex that have come out. It's bad policy. A teacher wants to tutor a kid, great ... do it at the library.

You might be able to coach in a homeschool league where you know the parents, know the children, and can evaluate for yourself whether their heads are adequately screwed on. Even so, common sense measures like never allowing yourself to be completely alone with the kids make sense in these cynical times.
Honor and trust are becoming more of a valuable commodity these days.

Oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly), the two men I have met over my lifetime who most hated women had both been molested by adult women when they were around 12 or so. One had been bedded by his foster mother, and the other by a female friend of his mother's.
One of the men was gay - and I have met numerous gay men who, while they didn't hate women the way these two did, had been molested by adult women when they were boys - and the other was bisexual but despised women. So much for that male fantasy.

I don't doubt that these actions can have a damaging effect on boys.
If I had my way they would all be treated the same regardless of their gender.
But there is a double standard regarding sexual matter...there always has been. I'm just acknowledging reality.
I don't think a male judge is going to treat a beautiful busty blonde the same way he'll treat some man who does the same thing to young girls.
No, that's true about the judges (assuming the offender is a beautiful busty blonde in the first place, which I doubt that either of these women were).
But the thing that irritates me is all these stupid comments by men who, in retrospect, think it would have been cool to have an adult woman groping them or forcing them into some kind of sexual act when they were kids. It's obviously not a good thing.

Immature men are always going to make stupid comments.
Unfortunately there are many men who never outgrew the adolescent tendency to objectify women and fantasize they only exist for their sexual pleasure.
And so they will still look at cases like this and think "wouldn't it have been nice."
