This is just so sad, we all pray for the injured girls and for comfort for the community as a whole. A peaceful farm and a glorious day, and then tragedy!

Prayers for the most peaceful of Christians, the Amish. How dare the horrors of the world invade their space.

enjoying the plain and simple
sewing

jellies
3 bean salad
pickled beets
homemade noodles
smoking hams
the smell of sauerbraten
shoo fly pie
hanging out wash for freshness
singing while you work
one-room schools
summer farm work for young people
perfectly straight rows of corn
handmade furniture
the courage of the young and the stalwart faith of yore

This is so very, very sad.
