Many once-American roofing jobs have been taken over by illegals who work for peanuts here in Mexifornia. It's rare to see Americans on roofing jobs anymore, with the exception of the boss.
The illegals don't have to worry about their illegal status - they can just go live in one of many "sanctuary cities" and collect all the benefits of citizenship, including free medical care, welfare, child assistance and schools, free breakfasts and lunches for the kids, and in some instances housing (all the stuff we have to pay the bills for).
It pays big to be an illegal in Mexifornia.
You defend rapists who also commit multiple felonies against the death penalty. You then want what from me? We have both typed more than enough words here. Post #61 you stated clearly that incentives for rapists should be considered. I don't believe in your perverted view and am asking you to leave me alone tonight.
I do not "defend" them against the death penalty.
I explain why logically, the death penalty will make more rape victims murder victims.
If you choose to equate the two, I'll thank you to keep it to yourself and not drag my alleged statements into it.
How many Americans are arrested in Mexico for violent crimes...I'd really like to see THAT statistic.
Just turn 'em over to Thiebedeau & Boudereau for disposal. Louisiana "coon-ass folks still understand the Commandments, the Constitution, etc.
And, they love trolling for gator.
;-)
Xena, Xena,
As an old girl friend once said "Stop Rape With A .38".
OK, she was a Bianchi winner. But she was right on target, if you will pardon the pun.
Wow, did you really mean that? Do you really think that the criminal who orders a pizza, kills the delivery driver and then eats the pizza ever stopped to think, "you know, if I let the delivery driver live I'll only get jail time for the robbery."
The left has used that argument since the 1960's to do away with the death penalty (see "The Onion Field").
The whole truth about The Onion Field is that Hettinger screwed up. The fact that Powell considered the punishment for the crime still never prevented him from committing it to begin with.
Punishment for a crime is personal, the fact that it serves as a deterrent is only incidental. We don't build prisons so we can point at them and say "obey the law or we'll put you inside", we build them so we can use them to punish criminals. Punishment is about paying for the crime you committed, not showing it as an example on the price side of some kind of "crime menu" that criminals can read and then decide what they are willing to pay and then choosing what crime to commit.
Do I think that the death penalty is warranted for a rape, I don't know, probably not, but I'm not going to decided that punishment for this offender should be limited because I am worried about what the next thug does when he commits a similar crime. The punishment for this scum bag, and any other scum bag should be based on what he did.
"Not that we don't have plenty of home-grown rapists, but Latinos are much more likely than Anglos to commit rape. The Latin "machismo" culture is very misogynistic and violent. In addition, the age of consent is as low as 12 in some Mexican states, depending on circumstances.
So much for the "good-hearted, family values" line!"
And oh boy, have the latinos brought their morally bankrupt culture with them! Our jails are chock full of these cretins!!
Family values, doing the jobs...and all that other good stuff discussed at big business/GOP cocktail parties.
Columbia better have their city fathers fly to California, to see the end result!
Who was he working for?
Actually, I think few usually do. I seldom read a bout "rape" in the papers. It's usually "rape/murder" these days.
....by his balls.
I think the victims should be able to kill the guy and not be prosecuted. That wouldn't be the same as the death penalty but it would wipe another scumbag off the face of the earth and keep him from repeating his crime.
