I'm not thrilled that we live only 90 miles north of the NY/PA border. If that coyote had it, it got it from somewhere and if it was that far gone, it's likely to have passed it on before it encountered this guy and his wife.

Here in SE AZ, agressive coytoes anytime and skunks out during the daylight hours are likely rabid and shot on sight.
As a kid in upstate NY I remember seeing skunks during the day and nobody thought much about it except to keep yourself and dogs away.
