When Bill Clinton made his speech to the Labour Party conference, he bamboozled a few by finishing with the word "Ubuntu".

That's only one version of BSD, the one your buddy antiRepublican was referencing. You two must really like that one. Not surprising they got their funding pulled by the DoD, just like they should have.

Why, because of all the leftists there? You want to meet there or something?
No, what I've said is that I'm not going to use the country of origin as the primary factor in determining whether the product is going to be best for me.
What I've said is that if I have a choice between an American made and a non-American product and assuming everything else is equal, then of course I'll pick the American-made product.
The biggest factors for me are the quality of the product or service it provides with respect to my needs and the price of said product or service. Or in laymen's terms, I want the best product that does what I need at the lowest price.
If the product isn't the best choice for one's needs, where that product was developed and made is absolutely irrelevant.
Got it?
No point in arguing facts with him, they seem to give him a rash.
You've got mail...
I read your message. You're right!
Check my reply.
LOL
And he insults my understanding of the english language..
Mail was spot on rze..
If that's a tangential snipe at Jassa Jackson, I applaud your sense of humor.
"You said on this very thread, the American product would have to be "equally useful" before you would even consider it."
No kidding. I've said this a countless number of times. Is it finally beginning to sink in?
"Why are you always running away from your position? Either you believe it or you don't. And I don't think you're old enough to know, you sure don't know these subjects."
Any schmoe reading this thread can see that I've held a constant position and even went beyond plain English in explaining to you how I determine how well a product fits my needs. I even laid out my entire thought process in simple steps even my grandmother (who, btw, barely knows what a computer is) could understand.
Sheesh.
Open BSD. Remember? You and the antiRepublican brought it up. Here's the link again about their funding getting pulled by DoD for anti-war comments and trustworthiness concerns.

No, I don't care for them.
At least he hasn't invited you to a Foleyesque rendez-vous at digg.com...
LOL who are you arguing with? As I've only said a dozen times myself, all you've done is post endlessly and repeatedly that you don't care if the products you purchase and use come from the US or not, you will always without fail chose what you consider is the most useful product, and will never ever choose an American product by choice, unless all other possibly conceivable things are equal. Why do you keep repeating yourself?
I don't go there. You brought it up.
Huh? B stands for Berkeley. South Africa comes into the picture because one of them is or has been behind two separate BSD forks.
