Other than being potentially cute, what is a single positive benefit from a squirrel? Seriously.

In the wild squirrels plant nuts more nuts then they eat which helps the forest to spread. As this is usually not a desirable thing inside city limits where tree roots often cracks roads and sidewalks not to mention causing problems with the sewer and water system I can not think of one desirable reason to have squirrels in the city.

These are squirrels in a park.

In CA there are squirrels all over the place.
