Received reply from Raj Bhakta on NRA RKBA question. (Running for Congress in PA's 13th district)

A few weeks ago I sent out some already prepared NRA question postcards to candidates in Pennsylvania. The only reply I've received so far was from Raj Bhakta. He is running for Congress in Pennsylvania's 13th district. The body of his reply was:

"You are entirely correct to support the right to bear arms that we as individuals enjoy under the Second Amendment. Congress should not pass legislation that hampers our right as Americans to protect ourselves. When elected to Congress, I will fight to preserve that right."

"In Congress, I will oppose any effort to create a registry of gun owners. Government should not keep a list of law-abiding citizens as if they are some kind of threat. I will also oppose any illegal sting operations."

"We cannot allow radicals to erase one of our most basic rights as guaranteed by the Constitution. American gun owners have no friend in Allyson Schwartz. They shall have one in me and other representatives who understand the sacredness of our founding legal document."

I was impressed that I got a reply at all, let alone one so detailed (IIRC he went over eveything the postcard asked about). Just wanted to share in case anyone was interested.

Raj Bhakta has a website at www.rajforcongress.com

I looked around the site a bit and he seems ok. (Better than Allyson Schwartz at least!) I also saw there that he was on The Apprentice. I never watched that show. Does anyone remember him from that?

P.S.This is my first thread! It's a little scary :) !

LOL... Raj was a total kick on The Apprentice...

He even asked Trump's secretary out on a date when he got fired.

Well, IIRC, it was more of a nonverbal answer... more of a smirk than anything...

I think he also asked out Anna Kournakouva during the show, too...

He's definitely not shy.

Wish I could vote for him. I'm in the 15th district where our RINO is running unopposed. Which I suppose is good, considering he's FOR some Republican/conservative ideals, but a couple of his other votes scare me.

Did you see him Friday night on O'Reilly's show? He rented an elephant and rode it across the Rio Grande "undetected", and showed his videos of wets swimming the river at Brownsville. But the agriculture inspectors showed up and demanded the elephants be sprayed for ticks which they might have picked up in Mexico.

I didn't see O'Reilly but I did see Raj on John Gibson's show the other day. Seeing the video of him riding an elephant across the border while a Mariachi band played was both hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
