We just watched "The Unit" last night for the first time. Pretty good, and something for the guys (exciting action) and the gals (soapy home front). Shark was OK too, but it really is just James Woods so far, the supporting cast is not like the one on "House" for example, which remains a fave. We also watched "Smith" last night and that was pretty OK too, although it is hard to root for the thieves.

Only TV I watch anymore seems to be the golf channel. I can tell you it was no fun watching the Eurotrash cream our boys. That Sergio Garcia should be buried alive I hate him so much.

I like: "Vanished", "Kidnapped" (see a trend here?)

I suffered throught the first episode of Studio 60 and absolutely thought it was the lamest thing I had seen in a long time.

I liked Shark, but I'm waiting to see if it can hold my attention. My hope is that James Woods (who I really like), can pull off a 'House' curmudgeon, but with a more diverse story line.

The Unit is great, I started watching it last year and liked it.. Reminds me of the old 'Mission Impossible' with some added soap.

I liked the first Smith, but the verdict is still out. Ray Liotta is great, but maybe too strong for TV. Not a show for the kids.

I watch CSI (the original) and I, and Mrs tje, watch CSI: Miami, but we're not entralled with that.

I still like NCIS, even though it's somewhat 'hokey'.. (Smith is not).

We also like Survivor.. this year especially as the Mrs and I have spent time in the Cook Islands. Roratong and Aitutaki. It was a wonderful place with no TV and the Maori's were wonderful people.. We will never forget that place..

"House" and "Dancing with the Stars". Don't really know why about House but DwtS because of Sara Evans. Hope she lasts a long time in this competition.

Love "The Unit". "Shark" was terrific. Haven't seen Jericho. Kinda like "Eureka", but still on the fence...That's on SciFi - does that count?

And before you ask, no, I am not James Woods (I only wish!)

I've never watched CSI:Miami, but have started in repeats now that it's on A&E.  That's how I got hooked on the original CSI.  I'm not sure if I'll try to watch the first run stuff this year or just ride along on the old ones on A&E.  It's a good ensemble and well put together, at least the first season shows I'm seeing now.  I will have to wait and see how CSI (Las Vegas) deals with the whole situation they've set up with Catherine Willows in this extended season opener before I figure out if they still have it or if they've jumped the shark.  It could go either way.  The end of the first show was pretty heavy handed, even if interesting for the actors.  I loved the inclusion of Cirque (finally!).
