The Department of Transportation, acting through a Security and Prosperity Partnership "working group," is preparing in 2007 to issue North American biometric border passes to Mexican, Canadian, and U.S. "trusted travelers" according to documents released to WND columnist and author Jerome R. Corsi under a Freedom of Information Act request.
"The FOIA documents show the organizational chart and the composition of a 'shadow Department of Transportation' which includes formal membership from Mexico and Canada's Departments of Transportation," asserts Corsi.
"SPP has in effect created a fully-functioning trilateral Department of Transportation which will dictate policy to Mary Peters as soon as she is confirmed to replace Leon Mineta as U.S. secretary of Transportation."
..."Evidently SPP has decided to erase our internal borders with Mexico and Canada," Corsi told WND. "We have no trilateral treaty voted by two-thirds of the Senate that has authorized North American trusted traveler biometric cards to be issued to the citizens of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Yet this is exactly what the shadow administrative branch created within the Bush administration under the auspices of an SPP working group is doing."

Lou Dobbs is now labeled a Conspiracy Theorist by the CFR for reporting about the North American Union Merger.

The American people ARE paying attention, in spite of 1rudeboy's efforts. Do you think the people who are paying him will fire him now?
I think they SPP Gang is nervous because of all the media attraction this has been getting.
I found this report by the Independent Task Force on Building a North American Community. In the Acknowledgement good old Senator John Cornyn is recognized.

On page 22 of 49 it tells why NAFTA was created for Mexico. LOL It even reports in this paragraph that the World Bank estimates that Mexico needs $20 billion a year for infrastructure and education.
Then on page 37 of 59 it suggests implementing the Social Security totalization agreement between Mexico and the U.S.
At the very top of page 38 of 59 this article suggest that none of this will work until the wages of the two North American countries are diminished to Mexicos wages.
How many Senators are still in office proud that they signed the NAFTA agreement. How many are running for reelection today?
Good find.
I know that you all probably read more than I do. I'm curious to know if this article was posted in the U.S. It seems strange that this article would be found on the U.S. Embassy in Canada website. In the introduction there is a disclaimer in bold print saying that this is not in any way connected to the U.S. government. Then these meddlers from Mexico and Canada have the audacity to tell Americans what to do and these idiots even think they have the smarts to spend American money. This is even after their admission of the failure of NAFTA. LOL.Of course, there are some American socialists in this also.
To find Senator Cornyn's name in the Acknowledgement was surprising.

I really don't know the answer to that question. I do recall a lot of arm twisting during the CAFTA vote and breaking the "time" rules. We have NAFTA and CAFTA. This is a list of our bilateral agreements.
The US has bilateral agreements with the following countries and blocs:
Australia / U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement (2004)
Bahrain / US-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (Signed 2004; Ratified 2005; Implemented 2006)
Chile / US-Chile Free Trade Agreement (Signed and Ratified 2003; Implemented 2004)
Israel / US-Israel Free Trade Agreement (Signed, Ratified and Implemented 1985. The Palestinian Authority is also participating.)
Jordan / US-Jordan Free Trade Agreement (Signed 2000, Ratified and Implemented 2001)
Morocco / US-Morocco Free Trade Agreement (Signed and Ratified 2004, Implemented 2006)
Oman / US-Oman Free Trade Agreement (Signed and Ratified 2006)
Singapore / US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (Signed and Ratified 2003, Implemented 2004)
With all these "free trade agreements" we should all be healthy, wealthy and wise. You know "free trade agreements" have saved us. S/
Move to full labor mobility between Canada and the United States. To make companies based in North America as competitive as possible in the global economy, Canada and the United States should consider eliminating all remaining barriers to the ability of their citizens to live and work in the other country. This free flow of people would offer an important advantage to employers in both countries by giving them rapid access to a larger pool of skilled labor, and would enhance the well-being of individuals in both countries by enabling them to move quickly to where their skills are needed. In the long term, the two countries should work to extend this policy to Mexico as well, though doing so will not be practical until wage differentials between Mexico and its two North American neighbors have diminished considerably.
Your interpretation of this document is entirely reasonable, since Mexican wages are indeed not coming up to the U.S. or Canadian level, that it infers that "... none of this will work until the wages of the two North American countries are diminished to Mexicos wages."
Please see my comment #12.
Did you have a question for me, or are you simply whimpering?
Darn! I told my bosses at the CFR that creating websites where people can find information for themselves was a bad idea. How was I supposed to know that Jerome Corsi would tell people they exist?
You cannot be serious. That's the CFR document we've been discussing here for months. Now, I understand that a good number of people haven't read it, but it's really not that long.
