It's really difficult to figure him out, I think. We who care enough to read about him find his strength/viewpoint in one area does not necessarily translate to a complementary strength/viewpoint in another area. Well, you what they say - "Always keep 'em guessing", and he does.
No...its nothing new...the guy is a raging narcissist!
The rage is in the Passion, aand all his movies. The guy is just very sick.
stupid celebrities.
Sorry. Post #19 should have been posted to RexBeach.
I don't think they really care about his drunken rant--that was after he made the movie anyway. Their delicate sensibilities were damaged when he created something that a lot of Christians went to see. Now that shouldn't be allowed.
Everybody here used to like him....funny how people change so easily.
Geez, how this guy has fallen from public grace. Alcoholism strikes again.
Oh now I see why Kennedy didn't evoke the "Monroe Doctrine" to justify invading Cuba. He misinterpreted the doctrine...
That sums it up pretty well.
As for Iraq, best to read this tome on how Athens fell after a long drawn out engagement...
People on FR didn't ever want to believe it.
(I still like Gibson's stance on gays, abortion, and faith. Rarity in Hollyweird.)
I think it's amusing the way he can work people up over things.
Give Mel credit, at least he didn't say sending guys off to Iraq for oil.
Nah, no credit for Mel, he's as moonbatty as his cohorts. The ignorance amongst the chosen few is truly stunning.
Is it written somewhere that prior agreement with somebody on a particular issue is an obligation for future agreement on everything?
Which is why he's entertaining on screen.
(But at least he's a pro-life loon.)
Gibson's not in this picture, so promoting it won't be all that hard - especially if it lives up to its true billing. I for one find that photo of the priest on top of the pyramid overlooking the crowd hypnotic and majestic.
Look for Disney to make a BIG PR push with scarcely a word about the director....
The obvious parallel. Sad that Mel missed it.
Well, I certainly don't agree with stance there, but I do believe both his previous movie and this coming one are serious signs that was has been written of is about to unfold and be revealed, starting with the First Seal/otherwise known as/the Ram of Daniel 8.
I always wondered why he and Danny Glover hit it off.
Now I know.
