I root for Penn State, Pitt and WVU. Here's wishing them the best.

The Irish are still down by 10, and Mussie and company can't stop brown-nosing Notre Dame. I expect this sort of thing from Musberger, but for Herbsteit and Davie this is pathetic.

MSU responds with a TD.
ND gives up 31 and its not even half time yet..good lord.
To: scott says
So much for that awesome new ND defense....

Washington had just taken the lead and then UCLA threw an INT returned for a TD. 29-19 Huskies with six minutes left.

Maybe Romeo Crennel should have went to ND and Weiss to the Browns, LOL.....
To: ABG(anybody but Gore)
At this point they'll be lucky to get an invite to the Alamo bowl.
To: scott says
Romeo wouldn't have had much to work with.
To: mainepatsfan
ND has no D...serious weakness. They are not going to win any "big" games with that crew.
To: scott says
Weis had better hit the recruiting trail pretty hard to build one.

Somehow, I don't think Charlie Buddha and the Golden Domer Child will go quite that low(I'm thinking Gator), because they have enough mid-majors on the schedule to win at least 7-8 games, but once MSU is finished with them tonight, they can forget about a BCS game, because I see them losing at least 1-2 more games.

any guesses on MSU's margin of victory.
my guess is 30.
ND has no running game and no tackling.
That is bad.
To: aft_lizard
I wish Nebraska's offense showed up last week....
Who do they play next?
To: staytrue
My guess is 3 TDs...21 points or so.

In slow motion of slow motion, it appears the ball was in the end zone, in his control, during the spike...but his front foot was in the air and his rear foot was clearly in the field of play when he released it. Doofus. Im a buckeye fan for one. And two, this isnt ESPN boards so leave the childish namecalling for elsehwere.

Bob Davie with the understatement of the night after showing Mich. St. with over a 5-1 advantage in rushing yardage: "Michigan St. has a chance because they might be able to run the ball on Notre Dame"....
