Telecommuting is a great idea, but I personally don't know anyone that has a job where it would be feasible.

Every government worker who can, should. Of course, at some point it will become apparent that we can outsource those jobs.

With new technology today, alot of office work could be done from a home office. Maybe it's not feasible for 100% of the work to be done from a home office, but what about one day a week? Or two?

What it boils down to is that I'm sick and tired of being dependent on foreign oil and I'm trying to think of ways to reduce that dependency, Telecommuting is one option.

I get the distinct impression that our dependence on foreign oil is not a priority for most. If it is then why am I not seeing a strong push to do something about it?
