This is true of some of the most basic religious obligations such as prayer
Christians have a pretty clear cut set of obligations. It just requires some reading to actually know what they are. Such as prayer.
Matthew 6:7, it says that one should not think that repeating prayers over and over will make God listen to your prayers more (like the heathens do), since as is revealed in verse 8, "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." That is - you are not in control of what God listens to, and by repeating prayers over and over he will not listen to you more. He already knows what your needs are. Jesus is also making a comment on these heathens that repeat prayers over and over for their own vanity to seem pious to others

satan is the king of confusion and deceit so it's not surprising that the koran is vague - now we know what's really wrong with the killer islamists - they are confused

The problem is it's whatever the mullahs want it to be basically, and how many zealots they can get to go along with them. Answer.... A lot of zealots!

No translation from arabic is "legitimate" according to Mohammedans, and no commentary by anyone not Moho or not in Arabic is lauthoritive, even a little bit. The Mussulmans will tell you that anything said by a nonMoslem in a nonArabic language that is not favorable to what they want infidels to hear is a lie bevause it is not in Arabic and only Mohammedan native speakers of Arabic can know what the Koran says or can speak on it (in Arabic) truly. The Koran also tells Moslems that to lie to an infidel is all right, even required, if it is to the benefit of the Moslem.

Maybe they made it that way purposely, to confuse anybody interpreting its real meaning to a high extent.
Maybe they've been planning this for the whole time...
