The ***Official*** Weekend Singles Thread - The NO THREAD Thread(September 15-17)
DollyCali and All of the Singles & their FRiends | September 15, 2006 | DollyCali

OH NO!!!!!

It’s The
"I HAVEN’T GOT THE THREAD DONE"
Thread.

Sigh, yes, dear Abby/Dolly will have to wait yet another week, as a combination of my procrastination, Murphy’s visit, and normal SNAFUs have contributed.

And since I only have 3 questions there is STILL time for you to submit your to me via FReepMail. And I REALLY am not trying to hog all the threads.
( even though it SURE looks like it )

So for this weekend, in addition to the normal chit chat, let’s just call this a Favorite Thread. Post your favorites in life

Graphics,
fav pix of your pets,
If you are bold, Pix of your “ex”,
Recipes,
Sport Teams
Jokes or
Rants.

In other words.. Anything goes (well within the guidelines of decency & FR guidelines!!!)

Oh, wow. Thanks so much for putting the explanation to that picture. I've seen that on another site that just said there was something about it....but I could never figure out the catch. I thought the white long things were crocodiles (inexplicitly crossing sand) and somehow the photographer put camel silhouettes in there? Geez. How stupid! Thank you for straightening me out!

I was just bemoaning that it is Saturday night and I don't have anybody to play with. I'm waiting for Dumb & Dumber to come on at 10:30 p.m. on TBS. Can you believe that the four people I could call up and talk to - well I can't because every last one of them takes their various medicine at night and rolls up the sidewalks so dang early. Getting old is awful. Don't do it. Just stay young and frisky. Sometimes I think I'm the only person who can make it past 8:00 p.m. ET without debilitating medication. I'm serious. It never used to be like this. Why, we used to talk until past midnight if we wanted to!

I'm usually up until after midnight. Most often, I don't go to sleep until 3 am.

You know what's cooler than the inside seed of a cucumber? You can go to this site and see a picture of exactly where it is daylight and night time on Earth. This fascinates me.

http://www.fourmilab.ch/earthview/

In the very first line of the first paragraph just click on "map of the Earth".

I suppose--it's just one of those things that comes with college and young adulthood...

I'm usually up until after midnight. What kind of medicine do your friends take that knocks them out?

I am doing well! I passed all my tests and I am now licensed to sell Life and Health insurance. It's good to finally have it all done!!

It is VERY slow in here tonight...seems like everyone must be out having a life :)

Have you considered throwing car insurance into the mix?

One takes meds for depression and is totally zonked at 8:00 p.m. ET sharp. This one even was zoned out and missed a freak earthquake we had a couple years ago!

One takes an insulin shot and then has to eat and just CANNOT be disturbed after 7:00 p.m. CT. Apparently conversing makes her forget what she ate or something like that.

One takes medicine for bipolar condition that transforms her into a zombie at 8:00 p.m. ET. One minute she is a very bright paralegal, takes pill, and the next minute (and I quote), "can't tell the cats apart".

One takes an oxycotin pills for what seems to be a lifelong tooth ache + ear ache situation. 8:00 p.m. ET again. Zonk City.

LOL! I tell you! That's the way the ol' life is. I was warned once by a very smart person. Be careful who you choose for friends because someday their problems will become your problems. That is so true. You get the whole changing package.

Time to go watch my movie. I'm so grateful the weather is a little cooler.

Night night.

State Farm is the best company. I've been with them over 20 years. Found out about them after having an accident while with another company. The docs, nurses and clerical workers kept saying "you should get State Farm".

After I got screwed over, I went to the nearest State Farm Agent and dumped the other company. Haven't had a claim since but am happy with the company.
