HONOLULU (AP) — TV reality star Duane "Dog" Chapman and two co-stars on his show were arrested early Thursday in Hawaii on charges of illegal detention and conspiracy in an alleged kidnapping three years ago in Mexico, U.S. Marshals said.

Chapman, 53, his son Leland Chapman, and associate Timothy Chapman were taken into custody in an operation involving 15 officers, said Mark Hanohano, U.S. Marshal for the district of Hawaii. They did not resist arrest, he said.

"All three were very compliant," Hanohano said. "It went down without incident."

Mona K. Wood, a publicist for the star of the popular A&E series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," said Chapman would be "vindicated."

"He arrests the bad guys — and he is definitely not one of them," she said.

"" I like them and pray that the Lord Jesus comes through for them now. Amen.""

I only watched the show once, but enjoyed it very much. Dog showed a lot of compassion for the perp he was after, and tried to help him. It was a pleasant surprise to see Dog's family praying on the show.

Amen to your prayer for Dog.

Do you or anyone else know an email or website we can email the Dog and his family to let them know we are praying for them and wish them well. Also, to let them know what a travesty this arrest has been. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Mexicans fear the long arm of the law because of successful FBI sting operations like Operation Casablanca (1998 I think) which resulted in the punishment of corrupt Mexican bankers whom the Mexican govt. had allowed to get away with their misdeeds. Chapman's rise to fame represents a real threat to them.
