There are several words in the English language that can better describe Jim McGreevey than his chosen title, "gay American." One word would be "whore." .....McGreevey boasts, in nauseating detail, to Oprah Winfrey - who else? - that as his long-suffering wife was recovering from giving birth to his spawn, New Jersey's chief executive was busy getting buggered.....audience members, though sworn to secrecy, were visibly appalled by this grotesque airing of too much information. But this is exactly what McGreevey wants. He badly wants this scandalette to be about sex. He wants to be seen as a savior to gay men and women........

McGreevey's sin was never his sexuality. He was a corrupt politician who raped the people he served. He hired a foreigner, a man he now says was his lover, for a top position in his administration. And when he was about to be caught, the coward hid behind his gayness - a move so cynical that I'm surprised it worked.

Gay groups are loath to criticize McGreevey - openly. "He's just another sleazy New Jersey politician," said a colleague. "He used a movement for which people genuinely suffered discrimination to make questions about his own moral behavior go away." ....his daughter will grow up, knowing that her daddy was too busy pleasing himself to bother with her birth - then sold the tale for a buck. Nice guy.

Gay gov McGreevey gave his lovebug Golan Cipel---an Israeli citizen---a $110,000 state job. Then McGreevey insisted Cipel be given access to top-secret US national security secrets, just as the tri-state area was recovering from 9/11. It was only later that the FBI would not give Cipel security clearance b/c he is not an American. The things they do for love---even if it involves undermining US national security (gag).

McGreevy is NOT gay.
McGreevy admittedly had sexual relations with a woman.
McGreevy admittedly had sexual relations with a man.

By their own definition, McGreevy is a BISEXUAL!!!

So by your definition, any male individual who once had sex with a man, and then went through reparative therapy to become a heterosexual, and is now happily married, will never be truly straight. They will always be, at the most, bisexual. Am I understanding you correctly? I'm just asking because that doesn't seem to be the commonly held belief on Freerepublic, which is that reparative therapy can turn homosexuals into heterosexuals if they truly want to.

Did you see the show? By any chance did Oprah ask, "How do you feel about having deceived two women, your ex-wives? And did you ever even worry for one second that you could, potentially, pass HIV onto them? I'd also would like to know if you cared or care of how this affects the children?"

Homosexuality: Like prostitution, porn and drugs, just another 'victimless' pastime.

I believe that what Red is trying to say, is that both such a person AND McGreevey are bisexual according to the criteria of the sodomite movement - NOT the criteria commonly held on FR.

My point was that when it's convenient for the gay recruiting movement, just one single homosexual encounter constitutes bisexuality, if you're otherwise hetero.

And then for the gay apologist movement, when a gay person has sex with the opposite, he is still gay, not bi...

I was trying to highlight the hypocrisy.

Also, I hold no opinion on the biological or social origins of homosexuality.
