I would think that only USC stands to lose anything by this. Reggie already has his contract with the Saints.

It's like a complete waste of talent. Give the guy a free ride scholarship, then he can make the beaucoup bucks in the big leagues where it's perfectly legal.

Think about this regarding the house that was rented.
Do you A# Leave tenants in your house without a benefit for a year without evicting.
Or do you B# Kick their butts on the street after the first 30 days?
In this case the landlord did #A because his home got the benefit of having the most famous college athlete in the nation living there (great for resale IMO).

How exactly is it that they were stupid? Bush is now making the millions you mention, he won the heisman (whether it get's taken or not), and he won two national chamopionships with the team. He nor his family care now what happens to USC. Nope, not stupid, sly as a fox.
