The best QB they had was Mc manus. He did not have the weapons of the 90s, or 200s, but he was the best decision maker they ever had. He won some big ones in Canada.

Charlie Ward was right up their too, but he could not win against a quick outside when his speed was neutralized. He pulled some big ones out though.

Johnson never started....Funny thing is Johnson started in basketball & played pro football. Ward never started in basketball, but played in the NBA

All things considered, not sure I agree...but I won't argue that he was a decent decisionmaker.

He was a great leader, but could not be reliable if the long pass was necessary.

Johnson started five games. Casey Weldon replaced him. I was at FSU when it happened. I can't believe Johnson's in the pros.
