Ah jeez. I posted the vote page before I actually voted, assuming there would be a poll to freep. So now I vote and get the results and there's like 77% not surprised that Couric fell from #1 to #3.

I heard her in an interview while listening to John Gibson's radio show (John is the man). She was slamming CBS tradition as if she was the savior. She must be making many friends at the Tiffany Network with her trademark perky-psychoB behavior.

When you scroll down the end of the poll, there a 10-shot item recalling the highest approval ratings of the Presidents going back to Jack Kennedy. George Bush has the historical lead. If the gas prices continue to fall before election and he keeps his focus on the WOT, he could be up into the high fifties, imo.

I didn't vote in the second poll. I think I'd consult sun spots before any of those fine people.
And if it was looks I was seeking, there are any number of other shows better staffed than the news divisions.
