Viper-powered Tomahawk to be offered for sale
Remember the Tomahawk, which debuted a few years ago on the auto show circuit? Maybe a better question would be: How could you forget it?
There had been some speculation that it might actually see limited production, and apparently the-powers-that-be at DaimlerChrysler have given the green light. The 500 hp V-10 Frankencycle will be marketed as the Chrysler (not Dodge) Tomahawk, and will cost a cool $250,000, give or take a few pennies...
Don't forget to check out the video on this site. I found it interesting in that they didn't show it banked over going through some twisties.

That shouldn't be blackie, he's way too young to be playing with that many cylinders.

is that to young?Well, I pretty much knew your age but, judging from the fact you haven't yet graduated to a "geezer glide," I will stand by my statement. :-)

All kidding aside, If I owned one of those things, you'd probably be one of the few people I'd let on it!

Is it a valid investment vehicle (accidental pun) for a 401K?

'K... I'm starting a Freeper collection to buy it.
Gimme 250K, I'll ride it, write a report about it, call it 'The Freeper Cycle" and take it to Patriot Guard rides!

Yes, he does. He said it certified his membership in the "More Money than Brains" club.

Unpredictable turbos, like the GPZ 750 turbo, would be fun.

Oh yeah...about 3 hours after they start selling. Heck I still see cars like the Lotus Elise up there that otherwise are never seen on the roads!
I wonder if the Boss Hoss will be its' magazine shootout competition...

"Well, I pretty much knew your age but, judging from the fact you haven't yet graduated to a "geezer glide," I will stand by my statement. :-)"No ""geezer glides" for the old curmudgeon; I've never owned a bike with a windscreen/fairing of any kind. My first two bikes were Harleys; one a 45 and the other a 74 Hydra Glide. I had one other Harley; a 1200cc Sportster just prior to the SV650.
All the of rest have been foreign standard sport and dirt bikes.

A quote from the best!
I've seen him drive a race car, back in the 50's.
He could drive!
