I don't like one of the questions. It asks you what your technical expertise is, and I'm sure uses that to decide which distro. While I may have a lot of technical expertise, I do not like to have to use it when installing and using an OS.

Things should just work.

I dont think the technical expertise ir related to how hard it is to install, those are two different questions. Maybe its to find something you can tweak..

Things should just work.

I started off with Mandrake (now called Mandiva) and it was very easy to install.  I had no experience at all with Linux and had it installed in no time.

Of course they should. Which is why most people use Microsoft or Apple, especially on laptops.
