By then, ALL of the news was going live to the events. Soon after, the pentagon was hit, and I said"man, if this keeps up, they will have to shut down all air traffic in this country. Soon after, they did, and flight 93 crashed. It was hard to do any work that day. that night, I saw gas go from about 1.49 a gallon, to over 2.00 a gallon, and gas lines down the streets at many stations that had not yet changed prices. Many stations ran out of gas. Cops were out ALL over, ready to roust anyone that did ANYTHING remotely suspicious that night. In Dayton, Wright Pat was on Lockdown, and several fighters screamed out from there that day, and created sonic booms in the area. For the rest of the week, all planes were grounded, stocks were dead, baseball suspended. It was hard to really gather my thoughts together to work the next day. The news continued live for several days.
