I gave a great, super-last minute briefing today. Word came thru the grapevine that the recipients were raving about it hours later. rah rah me.
Then certain powers that be get all hot and bothered because they didn't get to review the slides first. Nevermind they were in a mtg all morning and entirely unavailable and nevermind they have seen and approved every slide before (it was a cut-n-paste chop-job, but durn good). Urgh.
Ungh.
I spent all morning twiddling my thumbs and trying to figure out if the previous temp *ever* tested the code he wrote (answer: no. He also used gotos). Then in the afternoon every two minutes I had these two accountant chicks bugging me because I hadn't put the logic in to the macro I wrote them last week that handled Canadian accounts. Of course it was incredibly obvious that Canadian accounts would do X and require Y and need Z enacted before that, how stupid could I be?
