Actually I am thinking he might have some website he made, some sort of joke that either pissed off someone or else just misled them into thinking he was someone he was not. So it might turn out that they are after him for that. Or maybe they are disguised aliens that are after him for that thing he found last week.

Heh...the "thing he found last week" could be an interesting twist.

He runs and runs and runs thinking someone's after him 'cause of the Nigerian scam deal, and then they finally catch him and it turns out they're just alien kids who accidentally lost the equivalent of their frisbee and want it back.
