It's just so hard to post such sad news on an almost-always happy thread.
It is almost always happy because we are all here, together, in this little space of ours. We bring all of our ups and downs and in this place we find support, advice and commiseration. If you could not bring news like that here it would not be 'here'. I know we are all glad you share all this with us and glad we can provide a cyber shoulder on occasion. Sad news but we are glad to be here to get it and to be here for you all. So never feel bad about bringing anything here. Sad that you have to but happy to have a place to bring it.
Maybe Jen and I will find an excuse to go visiting in FL sometime. We both have extended family there anyway. I wonder if Empress still has my snorkel and mask...
