Right, only push enough so they do SOMETHING somewhat active. Which 2J has no problem doing already.
Right. Unfortunately stopping softball coincided with increased schoolwork and my youngest brother's early years, all of which helped my own innate tendencies toward sitting around. Bad habits die really hard.
Right.
See, last summer, my folks got him that swimming pool for our back yard and that's when I got the idea of how much he liked to swim...but when summer was over, we put the pool up and he sat down and was either doing school or playing on the xbox. Mistake! He got to where he was all stove up!
So I started taking him hiking and that's when we started noticing he was turning his ankles all the time and so we got him the high tops. He likes to hike.
But this past summer, I looked around and found the Salvation Army swimming pool deal and it has really been a godsend. I take him 3 times a week to swim, for a couple of hours each time.
And he has swimming lessons too...perfecting his stroke and such. We're going to that in about an hour!
(OT, I hope I get my house cleaned up before you get here! Ahhhh! Heh heh!)
