In line fuel filter?
That's the same story of my TV viewing. I discovered the "Stargates" after being PO'd once too often with a gaping hole in a Monk plot. Some of the episodes were acts of genius as far as the script went. But some of them hinged on non-existent items that allow Monk to solve the problem nobody else could guess.
I gave up on Monk after he solved a woman's murder by finding the spent shell case in the filling of one of her cherry pies. "We know her husband was allowed to own a gun, because he served in the military. And the fired case would have been matched to the state's database of firing pin imprints".
I yelled something about even California allowing more classes of people to own guns, and the bullet taken from her body would be easy to match with her husband's gun, who would be the prime suspect, anyway.
But what about the mower?
I dunno. I've pretty much exhausted my knowledge of the thing.
It was only $99 about 5-6 years ago, so it may have outlived it's usefulness. There's a guy that does repairs, but I can't quite see spending $50-60 to get it fixed.
If I can't start it Saturday a.m., I'll pick up a new (yet similar) model and throw this one on Craigslist for $10.
I know, I know...
I need to go to Ace for that, I guess. I thought maybe I could just get the third at Fred Meyer since I was over that way for groceries, but they have every size *but* the one I need. Go figger.
*Yawn* morning. It's cold here! It took me way too long to get out of bed because it was so chilly on the other side of the covers. Guess I'd better haul out my winter stuff soon.
Another day of cleaning and organizing for me. I got a call from a gal about a job I applied for yesterday evening when I was at the grocery store. She offered to call back but then didn't so hopefully she'll call me today. It looks to me like the job market is pretty good right now so hopefully it won't take long.
There is a little electric foot warmer next to your computer desk on the floor.
Oooh, thanks. That'll be nice. I am going to mop the floor now and my feet will probably be a bit chilly when I get done.
Kitchen is all ready for our furniture. It's nice and warm here now that all the windows are closed. I will open a few back up when it gets sunny or warmer. I am thinking of hitting the laundromat this morning.
Cool. Can't wait to get that in there and set the kitchen up right.
It's quite under this hill this morning.
Everyone must be busy.
Setting out to wash blankets now. I am also going to swing by the license place and talk to them.
Better bring a good book.
I just got back from my fizzykal.
*cough* *cough*
And that's all I'm sayin' about that.
I got an e-mail yesterday from the recruiter I worked with in Fort Collins. It's telling that it had been so long since she had something for me that I thought I'd let her know I'd moved...
I told her I was in Washington State now and had found something right off, and she said "Wise move - the job market hasn't improved here."
Oh well. It was still worth the experience.
Heh...
Argh!
Yar!
blimey... Have to go pick up our bloody truck...
