.... AND the marriage license place has had a computer crash and can't do anything today. Grrr.
Oh well, I had a nice talk with the recruiter lady and she's going to try to set me up an interview for later this week. It's a three-month contract but it sounds like the sort of thing I've been wanting to land.
Ain't that ring in yer nose enough fer you?
The banks might need to wait on that stuff too.
I'm glad to see y'all taking a proactive approach to this. The Mrs. didn't change her name on her SS card until about four years ago. The first time I tried to file our taxes online. It wouldn't let me 'cause the names didn't match.
How did you do bank accounts and such? Don't they need that first?
Heh...it's been so long I don't remember. I think she changed everythign BUT the SS#. She moved from NC to Virginia, so she did the Driver's License right away. I think that's all they required.
'course that was 20 years ago...
Apparently if I had the right marriage certificate I could get my license changed without worrying about the SSN, or vice versa. But since I don't I'm kind of in limbo. And I would like to get it done sooner rather than later... sigh...
When I left for work today, Cisco was in the dog house. Hopefully he'll figure out that it's a nice place to be on cold wet days! And sleep in there instead of complaining to the world at large.
I haven't heard a peep out of him this morning! I'll try to sneak over and get a picture of him in the dog house if it's still raining when I get back from my meetin'!
Well, here's a tidbit of info...
I came home from grocery shopping on Saturday and Steve was out in the yard. He said "You got something in the mail...it's on the TV". So I went in and it was a big envelope, said OSU on it. His diploma!! I said "Did you open it?" He said no, he thought I'd want to.
So I guess he really did graduate! LOL!!!
Remember my Kentucky Wonder bean teepee? It did great, beautiful plants, but it apparently was too hot and the bean blossoms would just fall off. I gave up on them and even quit watering them. But lately they've come back and guess what! We'll likely eat our first batch of beans this evening!
Ha!
LOL! That's just RICH!
Well you worked hard for it, too! Tell Steve, "Congratulations!"
It's wed, Jim.
It's at a radiator place now...
There you were, all gussied up fer yer meetin'...
Yeah - you know me... I'm always dressed to the nines :~)
Damsel in distress?
Hope the problem with the Ranger is nothing big!
