Say, are you watching the first episode of Amazing Race?

I'll be watching it tomorrow, probably.

Good season, do you think?

No need to ask - just pull up a chair and jump in!

We're a pretty informal group...we started talking on some of the movie threads way back before they even came out, and never *stopped* talking. ;-)

Hair and ecurbh are more or less the keepers of the Ring Ping list, for Tolkien related topics. You might want to be added to that as well!

So far so good! But I don't want to give away any spoilers, so that's all I'll say. ;)

Creating a gate where there was no gate before...

We've already cut the wire and bent it back, but basically this is "before"...

And now "gate"! Mares are interested in this new development :~D. I wanted this gate so I can take manure from the barn and dump/spread it in the back-forty easily.

Was a long day and we're sore and tired. The post that the four rails are nailed to in the before picture had to come out so those posts are all new. We got all the wire back up in the paddock and reworked the grounds and the power supply. It's better now near the source but it's still losing power somewhere before it gets around to the end. :~\ Another day troubleshooting tomorrow.

Looks great! I should have offered to help...though I don't know if another set of hands would have been much help...

Redoing the wiring musta been fun. :-\

Laughing at the mares. Wonder what it is about it that makes it intriguing?

teenage boys + camping trip = potty humor.

Well, what did you expect? ;o)

I was never interested in "The Amazing Race". We have enough TV shows to which we're already addicted this year!

Ha!

You are the Keepers of the Gates, the Wielders of the Tools of Wire Cutting and the Switch of Electric Shock...

I think she's too boring good. She switched back to the used-to-be-evil category.

I figured out a way (involving bribes and threats) to make it work. I don't like that she gets one of my favorite characters killed, though. *sigh* But it has to happen. A lot of other stuff hinges on that.

What remains to be seen is what side she takes once she gets her bearings back.

We watch "24" on Mondays (when it's on), "House" on Tuesdays, "Bones" on Wednesdays, and "CSI" on Thursdays. We used to watch "Monk" on Fridays, but Clare and Joseph always watched the "Stargates", so we forgot about "Monk". I also like to watch HGTV and DIY to get ideas from them. We haven't watched this much TV in years!

I've been up for ages. Working on getting settled in, tidying up, figuring out what to do about changing my name...

You probably should run over to the SS office this morning. It is not hard to find. And don't forget you need a virtual shower gift.

I had happy fun-ness hiding in the emails waiting for me at work.
Mandatory Overtime!

grrr

Mandatory overtime? Aww, man.... I probably will do the SS run, I dug up all my identifying papers. Where is the marriage license?

Do we have a spare power strip around?
