Your choice, he may need it. We can get it back again :~)
Took it back for now.
Still no phone call.

Yup, I agrees. Done for today, can finish up tomorrow..or not. We're off to a storebought meal..bbl
Gonna go get the chair in a minute here.
So at least there's that.
Heh....I'm making turkey pot pie. Got enough turkey leftovers to make soup tomorrow.
With Connery as the "Mr. Franchise" of the movie, LOTR might have never made it beyond some test shots. They say he's a decent actor to work with, when sober. But anybody with an ego (and actors have lots of ego, and not much else) and a 25% cut of the take has the ability to kill the entire enterprise.
I think PJ backed up his ego by leading by example. He put in more work than anybody else, and convinced everyone else that this really was about creating one of the great movies of all time based on one of the greatest novels of all time. If he was getting a percentage on top of that (and probably was, considering the audit he wants), at least people knew he was out there busting his butt right along with them, and not just resting on a famous name to bring in the billions.
Grrr....wife only bought a turkey breast. It's almost all gone...
Hehehe
Last year, sister-in-law bought the turkey. The weekend after T day, we bought a turkey breast 'cause we didn't get leftovers.
Still no phone call.
On the bright side, I now have bourbon, Baileys, an office chair, and two new Rex Stout books. So life isn't *too* bad.
Well, if they aren't answering the phone, at least they aren't hopefully selling it to someone else either.
Too late now for today, we'll see if/when they call.
sounds like Connery and thehomelydwarf have a lot in common...
Still aggravating, though. Whatever the reason. And it's starting to drizzle again.
Oh well.
Done with thinking about it for today, anyway.
Yeah - we gotta go do horses here in a bit.
It's supposed to rain like heck tonight, but tomorrow is 'decreasing'... If they're flexible about when, we can get it home. How tall is the opening in your van? :~)
Hmmm. Turkey pot pie. Wouldn't have thought to combine those two ingredients....
Well...right now the back door of the van doesn't want to unlock. I played with it for awhile on the way to pick up the chair, but it just wasn't going. Ended up putting the chair across the back seats.
Otherwise...yeah, that might could work. Would have to measure it to be sure, I guess.
Mmmm...Maker's Mark. OK, so it's a little early, but I had to just *taste* it, doncha know.
Oh - so you did find the liquor store. That went over my head in the first post. :~)
Found a different one, I think - on Cooper Point, by the Goodwill. Wasn't really looking for one, but I stopped by the Goodwill for just a sec and it was there.
She even found herself going by liquor stores...
That weren't on the way home :~)
Put you to sleep for sure ;~)
