Great...I've resorted to more or less writing fanfic of my own story in an attempt to understand my characters. I'm writing from the perspective of a totally secondary character. Tertiary, even. It doesn't fit into the actual story and will be deleted once I get more ideas, but at least it's writing. I guess it counts as wordcount...
It was 72 in Gulf Shores yesterday, and it was raining. We've actually had pretty mild weather in the high 50's or low 60's, but it has been very soggy the last few days, and no change for the next couple.
I will :o)
ThinkGeek.com. It's cool.... they have too many cool but expensive toys.
Mornin' folkses...

Send in the clowns.
There should be clowns.
:-)
They're in DC.
lol... don't bother, they're... here...

You can almost even see the red noses and bright color makeup. Then there's that ~sad~ clown in the back.
we are all clowns now...
(okay, what's the ~original~ quote?)
Morning :~)

Supposed to have nice weather for ~two~ days... :~)
Ah...OK. I think that was the original link I posted.
Morning everyone! We lost power again at 8 ish I think, and at ten, but just for a little while. We opted to leave the computers off for the night if it was going to be that iffy.
It was cool though, when it went dark, I stepped out on to the porch for a smoke and four bucket trucks went speeding by... they were already on it :~)
And get this... our TV in the bedroom, the one that was all screwed up and people were purple, on one half of the screen, it had a really odd burn pattern in it? It fixed itself, it's fine now.
See above about the tv, you'll be amazed cuz you saw it broken... how can it fix itself?
I think there are guys in bucket trucks practically living at the store...we seem to be the geographical center for most of the power outages in the area. :-\
Happy the TV resolved itself. Heh...guess one of the brown-outs or surges or whatever degaussed it. Or something.
Hey - cool! That's it then!
Traveling to North Carolina for Thanksgiving...
to
Not traveling, not having company...
to
Hosting dinner for (what's left of) the family...
I have, however, drawn the line at Sister Mary Hamburner's offer to cook the turkey.
