I don't fly into Boston anymore. I go to Providence. At least it's right beside the interstate.

I really hope it works. I'll probably take it and have it repaired some place if it doesn't...it's such a cool radio!

I think my car is just the coolest! I just can't wait to drive it down the street. We're aiming to have it running by next September. That's when the show is, I want it to be in the show. Not that it'll win any prizes...except maybe "Most Optimistic!"

:-)

Heh. My team leader at work was in Jury selection today. We gave him lots of advice on how to get out of it, but he is too consciencious to do anything but laugh at us. (we were just teasing anyway. he's a straight arrow.)

I got the job offer. Finally. Full time, permanent, benefits and all. A hugh pay raise over what I've been making. Now tomorrow I get to give the really nice people notice. Oh well! I've been dropping hints and it was a temp job anyway.

Oooooh I can launch them at the office-roomie-who-whistles.

I also get a lot of mileage out of "Cube News" on youtube. Oh that makes me giggle.

Finally finished painting, so I'm having my coffee now. I'm thinking about going to a friend's around 7 to help her and a couple of other ladies do some centerpieces for the school's Holly Fair, which I used to chair, but she and they are doing now. I have the St. Nicholas costume for the Pictures with St. Nicholas, and I'm bringing that to her. My Girl Scout troop had done the pictures at the Holly Fair as a fundraiser the last couple of years, but the school is going to take that over again, which is fine, since Clare and I are no longer in the troop, and we had used all our own equipment to do them, anyway. I just have to find the wig and beard which are in a box somewhere in by basement. RuhRoh. ;o)

Does he whistle badly? I sometimes whistle or hum along with whatever music is playing in stores these days. I don't even realize I'm doing it most of the time, it just comes naturally. I was in a store in Gulf Shores a couple of weeks ago, and a man next to me in the aisle said, "It's so nice to hear someone hum in TUNE for a change." LOL!

The humming is excellent - it's a well-trained singing voice. The whistling is up there with nails on a chalkboard.
