"Daddy sang bass, Mama sang tenor, me and little brother would join right in there..."

Good Morning ALL. Not much going on in theshire this morning. Few folks waitin' for the Missouri Mule. Walked through downtown, noticed a new business "The Brew Shop" hmmmmm. Gypsygirl is busy sniffing out her chipmunk buddy. Doesn't appear that yellowface will show his face. Not tooo many leaves managed to find their way to our freshly raked lawn. Looking forward to the warm up next week.

Morning!

~sip~

The squirrels seem to appreciate the work I did digging up the planterbox yesterday.

...and the chipmunk doesn't looked particularly cheesed....

Glad to hear your squirrels are enjoying themselves and the chipmunk is too peeved at you. Gypsygirl has decided her walk and sniffing has called for a nap.

Sunny here and Talon is making pancakes. That sounds like a good morning to me!

Mmmm...pancakes. Haven't had those in awhile.

Not raining at the moment, but it's overcast. Don't trust it...

And I'm deciding if I want to go to the earliest service so I can come home and write without interruption or if I'm too lazy to get out the door that fast.

There's also an afternoon write-in here. I've missed every event so far, but this one sounds a little easier to get to and it's just at a regular old coffee house, albeit one I've never seen.

I just don't go to downtown, really. That whole portion of town is a mystery to me! "Here be monsters"...

Go on! Go write like a fiend enhanced by coffee and total weirdoes. The ones at our write-ins seem pretty darn liberal but they are mostly ok folks anyway.

Well...let's put it this way: a high percentage of the local NaNo folks are Evergreen people. As in, the college Rachel Corrie was attending. Liberal isn't even quite the word.

Which I know doesn't mean you can't sit silently in a room with 'em and write. Might be able to work them into the story, for one. ;-) And there are a few others that said they'd planned to come to this one - a couple of older moms and some folks from south of here.

It's at four this afternoon. We shall see. If it's torrential downpour again, all bets are off.

LOL!

That's just wrong.

But funny.

Heh...kinda like my brother wearing an NRA hat in San Francisco just to tick people off, even though he doesn't actually own a gun.

Well...off to church.

Grr...

So the twenty dollar kit to fix our running toilet would have worked if the tank wasn't so old that it's nonstandard. Now we need a new tank. Here's hoping it fits the bottom.

Nope, I just sent you freepmail. We were in Macon, GA, picking up some stuff SirKit had bought on eBay, then we drove up to Braselton, GA to check out a tile outlet. While I was browsing, SirKit decided that since we were only about 20 hours from home, we'd just drive on through, saving the Richmond trip for later. We were tired of traveling at that point, so it was the right decision. We got home at dusk on Saturday, but the month in the South has given us an impetus to get this place remodeled and SOLD so we can move there permanently!

What brand bread machine did you get? We took our Zojirushi to AL with us on our vacation! SirKit didn't want to have to do without fresh bread during our trip. ;o)

Speaking of remodelling...

Wanna come replace a toilet for us? Ours turned out to be old enough that the new tanks won't fit on the base. So we get to replace the whoooole thing.
