Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I'm trying to get you well.

Ya know... My physical therapist told me today that "Curing people is no fun. it's bad for business."

Heh.

Since you can never have to many nano ideas...

I suggestions for what could go really wrong with on-line fantasy sports. I mean over the top 'wrong' like reprogramming a scoreboard to distract a field goal kicker to sabotage your competition

That's a good start, add a lap every couple days. "Motion is lotion" is what the orthopedic surgeon told me.

Sabotage of the gastrointestinal type could be over the top. Maybe Benadryl in the gatorade to make them sleepy. ie, they over sleep at the hotel and are late for the team bus. So the hotel hires a limo, only the driver is like that insane guy in Rat Race that drives the Cuba Gooding character out to the desert...because you paid him. :)

Um... how about you jam the signals in the headsets that allow the coaches to talk to the strategerists up inthe booth. Or maybe exchange the playbook for something more interesting to look at - or maybe a high school playbook.

Or maybe switch the signals so that one team's coaches are talking to the other team's strategerists...

Does it have to be football? Otherwise you could tweak the measuring chain on the yard markers and make them a bit longer than usual.

You could also manufacture a big scandal like switching drug test results to produce a positive... several times. Or put dope in the shampoo so they fail the hair strand test, etc. There could be a bimbo explosion. Or a rumor war that gets two players in a fight on the field... and then suspended. Heh. This is fun.

You have way too many of these sabotage ideas.

I am a baseball widow.

And a football widow.

And a basketball widow.

And a hockey widow.

But at least I'm not a golf widow.

So there's that.

Being a golf widow would be just sad.

A sad golf widow would make a good nanocharacter.

She could run a crime ring in her spare time.

Okay....went to Home Depot for some hardware...told the man I had a screw loose. :)

My cordless screwdriver ran out of juice before I could get the thing all the way in.

So nice to have a spouse who likes basically all the same things I do and not really any of the ones I don't. No lonely Sunday afternoons of crocheting penwipers for me.

Hmm lots of ideas. I like the one with the communications thing. Basically anything a hacker type would think of is the best bet for my story.

Halvah, on the other hand, is a bit delusional about her true size.

She should be snuggled up in a box for a larger size shoe?

How about record the calls from one game and play the recording during the next game. Hilarity ensues.
