Technology makes things simpler :~) Right?
~smiles~
It is a rather hobbity poem :~)

Should modify the VW logo on the front to be a peace symbol. :~)
I had to get my thermostat control manual off the web.
What it needs is a web interface.
I can still override whatever it's doing at the moment. I'll just go to the manufacturer's site and download a new manual. How'd we ever get along without this internet thingy? :-)

So, yesterday (actually all last week) was another bad week for Nana. Her back was bothering her. So, yesterday morning, interestingly not until it was ~almost~ time for us to get up, we heard her crying about her back.
She wanted to go to the ER to get a muscle relaxer. But wife said, "remember what happened the last time you went to the ER. They made you sick because they don't know your medical history."
Wife ended up staying home from church just in case. After we were already gone Nana called downstairs and said she needed a pain pill. Wife said, "come and get it."
When she ~finally~ came down, she sat down and expected wife to bring it to her.
Wife said, "Every time I take you to the Dr. he tells you that if you don't move, you're going to hurt. I'm not going to wait on you. I'm going to make you move."
Nana said, "Well then, you should just put me away."
Wife said, "I'm not ready for that. If you want to go to a Nursing Home, I'll bring you the phone book and you can find one and set it up. But I'm not willing to do that. I'm trying to get you well."
There was a good deal of silence after that.
But she came down for lunch. Ate well. And at least twice yesterday she did her walking through the house exercise that she hasn't done for months.
So, there's that.

and so it begins...

I think a nap sounds better.
I'm getting my voice back, btw...it's rough, but at least there.
I'm series. I'm going to take a hot soak and lay down for a bit. I'm not over being sick.
Halvah, on the other hand, is a bit delusional about her true size.
That doesn't look comfortable to me. But I guess I'm not a cat, so what do I know?
Ooop - wrong forum.
You guys are doing well to encourage her to stay mobile, I'm sure it's hard, when you're achy anyway, to force yourself to move. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Tough love. ;-)
Cats love being 'in' things :~)
Poor Cisco... That's a pretty sad story!
That's also my pillow...
Brat.
Well...time to scrape the car off and head to work. Goody.
Heh...she makes the loop through the downstairs.
Sam will follow her the first couple of times, then he gives up when he realizes she's not really going anywhere.
Nana going in circles ran the thread into the ground...
Oh yeah... those.
I'm only partway through the series. It'll be until after nano that I pick it up again. I introduced my friend who was just diagnosed with MS to the series this last summer. She loves the books and is an Evanovich nut, too.
FWIW, one of my nanocharacters will be an homage to one of Evanovich's. ;)
