Good morning Hobbit Hole!
~sip~
What's with you being on this early?
Ack, gotta go to work. Ugh.
heh! I'm still on the old time zone...I went to bed before 10pm last night. Plus, I'm sick, so I crash pretty early and wake up due to coughing...
Uploading parade pics.
Ungh...I didn't sleep well...and I'm still on old time, too.
Oh well...might as well get the day started early.
Still...ungh.
We don't get pictures of the mob? :)
I had the camera in the wagon, and am surprised someone didn't reach in and get it, but I never got a chance to stop long enough to take a picture.
Thought about that, after the fact.
Speaking of toothpicks, how did the door repair go?
I need to get a new screw. The screw head was a bit rounded and I couldn't "get a grip."
I like the colors.
Well...I figure everyone assumes they'll be ships and that we'll have figured out how to do certain things...so why should I have to explain how, say, the power system works?
At least, that's my excuse.
Mornin' folkses...
Hey... I got frost...
[sip]
Frost down here, too.
~sip~
Mmm...egg nog latte.
Well, drat. On the bright side, the additional time allows for more "curing" of the toothpick/glue combo :-)
THE ROAD NOT TAKEN
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Heh...gotta go to the hardware store and get some parts.
Parts is parts.
hehehe...
I still need to figure out the thermostat controls for the furnace. It's one of those programmable ones, but the interface is just not very intuitive. Of course there's no manual around. It's got a program in it, but it ends up kicking on and off at odd times.
Smart aleck...
I do like Frost, though. He lived all around the area where I grew up...one of my friends used to live a few doors down from one of his old homes. His poems are mostly about things I saw all the time.
That one strikes me as rather Hobbity. ;-)
