I still haven't done any prep. Still having a really hard time abandoning my current story.
Had to murder someone else today. But it was justifiable homicide, and the killer's pretty worked up about it. Didn't want to do it.
So I guess that's OK.
My tires didn't pop this time, anyway...
Good evening everyone... Just catching up and markin' my place :~)
AAAAAaaaagh!
That could be a good sign.
Or that could be a bad one.
Ruh-roh...
How so?
Heh...
Well, if the tire was a sign to get you to stop murderin' your characters... either the powers that be have given up on you or they're cookin' up something worse.
Be afraid...be very afraid...
In happier news, I got my package from my family!
They sent cheese. Seriously. That's just weird. Good cheese, though. Looks to have survived the trip OK...
Also chocolate covered coffee beans - a LOT.
And the first two seasons of Seinfeld.
You gots odd family.
I know how hard it can be to abandon a story in place! Maybe just do a NaNo-like thing with your current story?

I'm tempted to do that. It's not like I haven't proved I can finish a NaNo story. I've done it three times.
But it'd be a good motivator to finally finish this one. I started it two years ago.
*involuntary shudder*
Chocolate covered coffee beans taught me that not everything that is covered in chocolate is fit to eat. *wretch*blech*blubbberdubberdubber*....yuck.
Well...I like 'em. Too much. First time I ever had 'em I think I had heart palpitations for days and couldn't sleep for about a week.
I'll have to pace myself.
Wheeee, this cheese is hot. Gooood, but hot.
Speaking of pacing myself...
I agree with you... I don't like coffee or coffee flavoring in anything. Especially not chocolate.
Evenin' folkses...

Mondo cheesebrain sox intense grilling day today. Outside auditor first day on site. We drilled through a lot of stuff today though. Just flew by. We did today what took maybe three days or a full week the first year. So, we're getting better at it.
But jeez... how about we just ~don't~ do it?
I really hate Sarbanes-Oxley... have I ever said that?

Hmmm...it does sound familiar somehow.
Not liking chocolate covered coffee beans, I can understand.
I'm still puzzled by the not liking coffee at *all* thing.
That just ain't right. ;-)
yah... I know I really tend to keep to myself about such things, especially after a few wild turkeys... :-)
Arrrggh. Hundreds of man-hours. Mine, the consultants, the auditors, several of my staff.... all for something that contributes absolutely nothing to the gross national product.

[sigh]
Hmmm... we've done some upgrades to IE 7 without too much trouble. Did something go really bad wrong during yours, I take it?
...but we've specifically ~not~ yet pushed it out companywide. We're... uh, waiting, a bit for that.
