Dang... I don't have comedy central here on the hotel stupidvision.
Oh, no.... :-(
Will do...probably about eight.
Cisco is zonked out. Too bad that won't last. *sigh*
Have you got the DVR set to record it at home?
Yeah, the DVR should grab it. Oh well. Friday it is.
I'm watching the Criss Angel MindFreak thing on A&E... he's doing something with a military group. Looks like a morale entertainment thingy. Kinda nifty. Anybody know what his politics are about? I haven't seen the unit or location yet.
He's a pretty good magician. Every now an then I can spot the illusion and it doesn't work for me. But many times, it's pretty darn mystifying. His levitation bits are really well done.
Never seen him...
Warning: I'm on my way over. Gotta drag the dog off the couch.
But upon crossing onto your turf, he's gonna go psycho. ;-)
Of course... :~)
Homer will be glad to see him. He's been on leash restriction all day even in the house to keep him from going after a hot spot he's made.
Tiff called tonight... I'm gonna be dog-sitting her big Baby Huey dog this weekend. :~)
He's kind of a... well... freak. But he does some really good street-type illusions with (presumedly) strangers. This show looks like it is at Air Force boot camp. They put him down for pushups.
He just did a pretty good illusion where he had a whole crowd of people around, and grabbed a small duffel bag from one of the airmen, started going through his bag. Pulled out some groceries, and a girlie magazine. Made a joke of the girlie mag, and flipped through it and commented on how nice the girl on page 60 is... then sets the bag down on a picnic table. He looks from under the table to show that there's nothing under the table, then unzips the bag again.
The girl from the magazine then climbs out of the (small) duffel bag. The same girl.
Niiiiiccce. :-)
Good trick.
Hey... a little thing... my comment on Beccy Cole's video on her web site:

Mine was #117
So...
It's Friday, right?
Uh, sure. I'm onboard with that.

I'm contemplating...
Ornamental Welding WELD-3356
No prerequisite required. Youll do two projects to help you learn some basics of forming and forging and working with sheet metal. You will then select a project you want to create. Youll want to take this class MANY times!
45 hours.
Introduction to Welding WELD-3358
Whether youve been considering a career change to welding or youre just interested in it as a hobby, this class is the perfect introduction to welding processes, products, equipment, and terminology. Through discussions and lab work, youll cover welding and cutting safety, oxyfuel welding and cutting and various types of arc welding: shielded metal, gas metal, flux core, and gas tungsten, plus plasma-arc cutting and air-carbon-arc cutting. You must provide your own personal protective equipment.
45 hours.
Want to take a class like that sometime. Oh the things I could make...
These classes meet once a week, in the evening. I could take it, or Steve could take it...but as much as I would like to take it, Steve works up near the campus where it's offered and could just swing by after work. I would have to drive all the way in to Town, you know...at night. They end at 10pm.
So likely Steve will end up taking the class.

Niiicccce.
Before you know it... you'll be building choppers on the Discovery channel. :-)
That ain't right.
Do we get to vote on that?
Sounds good to me.
