Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

BTW my last set of "future in-laws" would like to come visit in January. Hmmm....

The lady in question, their daughter, is happily married in Montana and has four kids.

This was a while back.

Dunno what the parentals want. I may try to get WK over here, or just get some of my local friends and relations to come over and backstop what for me will be a somewhat uncomfy time.

I like the thumbnails and tabs concept.

Ehh, browsers like Opera and Firefox have had tabs for years.

Am I the only person on the planet who doesn't like tabs? I *like* having seperate windows for seperate browser instances. I have my FR window, my generic surfing window, and other windows as needs be. Tabs just annoy me. They compact things too much.

Right now I have 3 different browser windows with a total of 11 different tabs open.

You're not the only one. I've never been all that turned on by tabs. I tend to think in instances and just prefer to work that way.

I rather like the tabs...but it took me a long time to get used to 'em.

On the other hand, I *detest* the way XP groups tasks on the task bar by default. That is evil and wrong and should be abolished. It's one of the first things I change when I do a fresh install.

I spent almost five hours on two blog posts tonight. Mostly on the first one. (so I never got around to Lost)

I posted this just to drive the moonbats nutz.

Okay, what's the best program to "deep clean" my PC at home? With 5 users, there's a lot of gunk on there.

I can delete programs we don't use, but I know that don't get all the frap attached to it.

discuss.

I've got AdAware and Spybot. But I'm wanting to clean the hard drive.

With Jr. having AIM and sister-in-law signing on to AOL all the time, I'm just not sure what else might be on there. Plus Luke gets a lot of crap on there from the Disney and Nicklelodeon sites.

Didn't you check her teeth afore you tied the knot?

So many things I could say....
