Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
|
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Argh. Now I want Lost.
I had a dental appointment this afternoon. Gonna have to go back for some cavities but it's not too bad for having been over two years. Nice to have real insurance again.

Yeah...I suppose you're right.
But I don't trust her no more. Didn't she actually *tell* Jin flat out that she'd never been with anyone else?

I'm a dwarf on the edge... and I've been a nuclear Galadriel. In trying to figure out how to manage the stress that's been accumulating, all of my paths of investigation lead to the same conclusion: remove the stressor.

Didn't she actually *tell* Jin flat out that she'd never been with anyone else? Yup and she used those big, pretty brown eyes of hers, too.

I'm about to head out for some rot-gut hot Mexican food. The last time I ate at my favorite place, the poor waiter kept checking on me to see if I was ok. He explained, "Most white people don't like sauce that hot. I mean, it's hot even for me!"
*snork*

Ooooh, Mexican. I could go for that.
Making fried rice and shrimp wontons here. That should be good.

I had the "Arizona-style" chimichanga. As an AZ native, I don't recall chimi's being smothered, but this was smothered with their nice hot red sauce. For an added touch they threw in two jalapenos in with the shredded beef. Seeds-n-all. Muy Bien!
And as I was driving back to the hotel, I spied a small Mex-style cafe advertising tripas. Nuh-uh, no way, never again.

I've always been partial to enchiladas, and there's a place in Prescott that makes the best chicken enchiladas. Mmmmm! Haven't found their equal anywhere else.

In trying to figure out how to manage the stress that's been accumulating, all of my paths of investigation lead to the same conclusion: remove the stressor. perzackly. thus, muh two-year plan.
I have also alerted the rest of the staff that the boss troll is never, ever allowed to attend another meeting.
Never.

No chimney liner here, but 3 of 4 trees are down (they're s'posed to be).
To: ecurbh; HairOfTheDog
Are there any good Mexican restaurants around here?
To: Corin Stormhands
BTW, I have cookie ingredients, should you decide you want 'em.
To: RosieCotton
Yes! We like El Sarape. They're locally owned. They've got three branches.. One in Lacey at Martin Way and Sleater Kinney... one in Tumwater on Capital Blvd by Poages, and one on the west side.
