The Hobbit Hole XXXI - Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Still haven't really gotten sick. So maybe I dodged it.

Ponies are fed and happy. And I'm outta milk...so I haven't had coffee. Going out for that.

The scene *starts* with a New Arrival.

Dad says "Oh, bloody hell." Mum says "Would you gfet that, Deirdre?"

Well, I can report that those OXO multi-purpose shears cut through 35 feet of uncoiled chimney liner like a knife through butter!! The chimney liner is now flattened and placed in a 50 lb. bird seed sack.

Now to change shoes and finish cleaning the mess--the chimney sweeps left, unlike the Neal Harris(Technicans You Can Trust With Your House Keys)guys.

Oh yeah, I saw that years ago. I'm pretty sure I didn't get beyond that scene.

Meet Valance and Neutron, the lab puppies. We drove up to a local animal shelter that had 6 puppies dropped on them and picked these two.

Dang - now *that* is cool! Congratulations! ;-)

Girls or boys or one of each? Personalities come across yet?

We shall expect many more pictures. Just so you know.

Neutron is a little smaller than Valence. Valence is pretty laid back and really likes attention. Neutron is a little more energetic sometimes. He likes to try taking sticks and things away from his brother. Classic little-brother symptoms. They are both vey friendly.

Alpha and Beta cat are not yet decided on the subject of puppies.
