Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Nice pictures! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the weather while it's still warmish and dry!

Home here... was in having a hot bath, washing off the film of the trail :~)

As soon as I read Rosie was starting to feel sick, my throat started closing up and I got the chills. I'm hoping it's just psychosomatic.

I'm kinda hoping I'll wake up and feel fine.

I've been in an office all day with someone who was coughing. Maybe I'm not really sick.

Heh...I'd be tempted to get this for one of my brothers as a joke, but I'm afraid it's highly likely they'd actually wear it.

I know of at least two of them who would thoroughly agree with that statement. In fact, I think Stephen actually owned one kinda like that for a short period, albeit possibly one that was a bit less flamboyant.

They scare me sometimes. ;-)

I've been home here... trying to figure out what to do for dinner, if any.

[snoooft][sip]

Or maybe I'll just have chips and salsa.

:-)

Heh...I had pizza again for dinner, after having it for breakfast. Kinda sad, I s'pose. But I didn't feel like making anything.

Elaine and Puddy are at Elaine's apartment.

Puddy: Hey, great dip. You made this?

Elaine: No, it's from the store.

Puddy: Oh. Hey, how come people don't have dip for dinner? Why is it only a snack, why can't it be a meal, you know? I don't understand stuff like that.
