Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
|
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Well, I guess our local politics could be worse, then. :~\

Hi everybody,
Miss Cat was not happy with me....she was doing the snag-anything-with-her-claws thing but at least she didn't yowl the whole time.
I arrived at 2J's a bit after noon and they waited for me to snarf down a turkey and provolone sandwich on rye before we were off to the tire shop. She's got the two tires on now and I'm FReeping with coffee trying to get over the tryptophan.

We'll have to go in the house to do
that!
She's putting graphite powder in a lock right now.

She'll get to it.

Here's OT! Walking in the door!

And here she is with My Precious...with it's brand new tires!!

I'm afraid I've worn her out! She literally gulped down that turkey on rye before we went busting out of here! I provided her with a cup of coffee to keep her moving! LOL!!!

They look real round - did you have to pay extra for that? :~)
To: HairOfTheDog
Heh heh!! It came with the service!
They are definitely a whole lot rounder than the old ones were! They weren't round 'tall.

Ok...here's the plan for the rest of the day...
We're going to leave here almost as soon as Steve gets home...then we're going to scope out the location of the concert. Then, after we figure our way around (it's in downtown Tulsa...a place I rarely really go), we're going to Kilkenny Restaurant. They serve the BEST beer-battered fish and chips. Then, after we eat, we're going to the concert.
I have the camera and extra batteries!

Have fun then... send me some of those fish and chips... I'll see if they're as good as the Tides :~)
To: RMDupree
Dang, Ruthy, I hate that, but it is very hard being away from family. That's why WE'RE moving! Things will turn out all right, in the end; I'm sure of it.

I read a snippet of that on FR. Too bad for Repubs in FL, but if he's into that mess, I'm glad he's out of there!
