The move was madness, as all good cross-country moves are. You know, they're awful when going on, but you're supposed to laugh about it later. :D
Here's the strangest/amusing part: 2 hours out of San Diego last Sunday (the 3rd) we had 2-way radios with us and picked up a conversation between a couple of police officers. One of them was either the guy who shot, or another officer who knew the guy who shot, that Chargers player Steve Foley. He described the WHOLE thing in extreme detail. Except he said Foley was critical and the Chargers were being "tight lipped." We called a friend and it was NOWHERE on San Diego news. It didn't hit the major wires we could see until the next day.
