That was a nasty hit. His head bounced off the turf like a basketball. Hope he's just woozy and nothing more.

Green is paralyzed, at least temporarily below the waist. The trainers have been trying to get him to move his legs, but nothing. They were also moving them slightly to see if he felt it.

Not to mention that 3rd down throw to Watson. The defense has to step it up right now.

I'm about fed up with the clueless announcers excuse-making about how it was a clean hit. Green (the quarterback) was already sliding when the defender lowered and shifted to aim his shoulder pad full speed into Green's helmet. BS about the claim that he was blocked into Green, he knew exactly what he was doing.

I was thinking the same thing...they were eager to defend Geathers when it plainly appeared he took a shot at his head. And no, he wasn't blocked into him!

some good news on Green--he has feeling in all extremeties, but he can't remember what happened. Sounds like a severe concussion--it could have been much worse

Latest report on Green: now has feelings in all 4 extremeties, but no memory of what happened. Still being examined in the stadium facilities.

Pats need to eat up the clock on a long TD drive here.
No 3 and out!
